Hipnotic Hafla – Saturday 7th April
Rising Sun Arts Centre, Silver St, Reading from 7pm
A hafla is an informal dance party, which gives people the opportunity to get up and dance for each other, share some food, have a drink, and have a general boogie in between. They are less formal and pressurised than a showcase or stageshow, and are a great environment for students to practice performing or show their friends and family what they have been learning.
Students of Hipnotic teachers (that’s myself, Emma Pyke and Deborah Fox) are invited to perform if they wish. Some of you will be performing anyway with your classmates, but if you have any solos, duets or group pieces you’ve been working on yourself you can show them here. Please email me at kittykohl@yahoo.co.uk if you want to perform so I can put you on the running order. There will be some additional performances by invited friends of the school too. Friends and family members are welcome to come along too. The bar will be open and nibbles will be provided.
Earlier in the day Lisa Thompson of Kamara Tribal will be teaching a two hour ATS workshop at the same venue. Details will be available soon.
Tickets cost £7 and you can either pay in class by cash or cheque, or buy in advance using the PayPal button below (please add the names of the people who the tickets are for in the text box).
Tickets are non-refundable.
