I run a number of events in the Reading area, either solo or with the rest of my troupe. Below is a list of forthcoming events that I will be running.

Hipnotic Showcase – 11th March, 13th May 2012

This showcase event runs every two months at the Jazz Cafe, Madejski Stadium, Reading. We have been running it for two years, and every event showcases student and professional dancers, gives people the opportunity to take a taster beginner session or mini workshop if they are more experienced, and has opportunities for shopping with vendors from across the country, as well as a sparkle market where attendees can buy or sell their pre-loved bellydance goodies. Tickets cost £7 either on the door on you can prebuy tickets for the next event by going here. Please note that pre bought tickets are non refundable.

Workshop with Lisa Thompson of Kamara Tribal – 7th April 2012

Lisa is a certified ATS teacher with Sister Studio Status (this means she has been trained, certified and approved by FCBD®, the originators and curators of ATS® dance), director of the ATS® troupe Kamara tribal, who teaches regular ATS® classes in Basingstoke. Hipnotic Hafla – 7th April 2012

I will be running an informal hafla for students of Hipnotic teachers (myself, Emma Pyke and Deborah Fox) as well as special guests in April at the Rising Sun Arts Centre, Silver St, Reading. A hafla is an informal dance party, where people can enjoy a drink, share some food and watch each other dance. It’s a great way for students to get over their early performance nerves and show what they have been learning to other students, their friends and family.
