• Tribal Fusion

photo by Kathryn GoddardTribal fusion is a modern style of bellydance derived from Middle Eastern dance, including stylisations from Indian dance and Flamenco as well as being influenced by modern dance, ballet and street dance among others. It grew out of American Tribal Style (ATS) and has been increasing in popularity for the past ten years. You can find out more about this style by downloading this document. I have studied this dance for many years with some of the best artists in the world. It is my main dance style and currently no other teacher in Reading has my level of knowledge. I am Certified Rachel Brice’s 8 Elements(TM) Phase 1: Initiation (currently I am the only dancer in the UK to have taken this course).

My next Tribal Fusion course will run from 7th March to 11th April (6 weeks) at Dance Reality Studios in Reading. Classes are from 8pm – 9.30pm. I will be running workshops in the local area before these dates. Please email me for details or to be added to my mailing list. Please note that these classes aren’t suitable for beginners or those with mobility issues. You should have a training background in Middle Eastern dance. Please dress in clothes that you can move in, bring a yoga mat and water.
